Legacy Estate Organizing, LLC, was officially launched in the fall of 2016. Legacy Estate Organizing's focus is on estate organizing and administration -- the hard work of managing a loved one's estate following their passing. Additionally, Legacy Estate Organizing endeavors to help those forward-thinking individuals who may wish to sort, organize, inventory, and occasionally distribute their personal property in advance of their death, in a well thought-out way.
Following a two-decade career as an intelligence analyst working on international criminal investigations for the federal government, Legacy founder Eileen Moynahan decided to turn her talents to the world of professional organizing, specifically that of estate organizing and administration. A natural organizer, Eileen first assisted relatives in administering and clearing out the estates of loved ones. Then in 2012, Eileen lost her own parents in a tragic car accident. With the guidance of an outstanding estate attorney, Eileen utilized the experience of sorting out her parents' estates as a way both to draw closer to them and to work through her own grief. Eileen's goal is to help others in the same fashion, protecting their loved ones' legacies while moving efficiently through the estate-administration process. Eileen has completed all required courses and is a professional member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals, and she benefits enormously from the shared experience of thousands of fellow NAPO members in the U.S. and abroad. She continues to expand her own knowledge through extensive reading and research in the fields of professional organizing, personal productivity, and estate administration. She is skilled at locating missing heirs and lost assets, and she has experience obtaining required documents to establish the legitimacy of an estate claim.
